Boutique Spotlight: The Store

If you’ve yet to step foot in Berlin’s posh Soho House, then it’s latest retail addition is sure to inspire a visit. Nestled within the members-only hot spot lies a multi-use space simply named, The Store.

At a sweeping 30,000 square feet, The Store—which is open to Soho House members and the public alike—is a treasure trove of unique wares, designer goodies and a vegan cafe where visitors can fill their shopping carts, as well as their bellies. If you have an appetite for high-end home goods as well as cold-pressed juices from Daluma and scrumptious quinoa salads, then you’re in luck.

Since it’s opening earlier this year, the one-stop-shop has become a haven for fashion lovers, design enthusiasts, and freelancers alike who flock to the space to work in the inviting environment. With it’s mix-and-match furniture and eye-catching art installations like Claudia Wiester’s colorful creation, it’s no wonder everyone is buzzing about it. “It’s like an open, shoppable private home for everyone to hang out in,” say Alex Eagle, the Store’s creative director. There couldn’t be a better way to describe the ultra-cozy space—from luxe candles (which they keep burning daily) to handmade ceramics by Christine Roland and an eclectic mix of designers like Ann Demeulemeester and J.W. Anderson—there’s truly something for everyone in this unique boutique. Not looking for fashion or homewares? Hang out in the fully stocked IDEA library, taking a load off in one of Daniel Heer’s buttery soft leather chairs while cozying up with a good book. Needless to say, The Store is surely an Instagrammer‘s playground.

As if The Store didn’t have enough to offer, did we mention there’s a DJ corner for live music during events, too? Though no word on updates, expect the space to expand with film screening room. It’s safe to say this is one store you’ll want to peruse for hours on end.
