Collection Spotlight: Elizabeth and James SS15

It was with a sophisticated flick of the wrist that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen provided their take on easy west coast style with their Spring 2015 collection.  More sporty and relaxed than recent collections – while maintaining the menswear inspired silhouettes that the E&J consumers clamor for – the pieces extended from zip-up windbreakers in an airy floral taffeta and palm-tree inspired graphic printed boxy tees to drapey black crepe strapless jumpsuits and pleated mesh midi-skirts. The mainly neutral colored collection carried a carefree attitude from head-to-toe as the models donned flat sandals and minimal accessories proving sometimes less is more; I mean, when you have the perfect twill and cotton blend pastel pink vest to throw on, who would need anything more than a canary yellow belt bag to complete the look?

With so many supremely wearable separates and covetable structured accessories, all with the cool-girl, high-end touch that only the Olsen twins could provide, it’s easy to say that we’re counting down the days until we can get our hands on this
