Designers to Watch: Kendall Miles

We can tell that studying wasn’t the only thing on Kendall Reynold’s mind when she was at USC. Her semi-namesake brand Kendall Miles was born out of her apartment in 2016, and at the ripe of old of 22, Kendall is changing the face of the footwear industry one high heel at a time.

The Kendall Miles woman is passionate, tenacious, empowered and strong, and these are only a few of the emotions Ms. Reynold’s wants you to feel when you wear her shoes. Having a bond with luxurious shoes from a young age, Kendall looks at her designs as art pieces, as they each contain elements that move the woman standing in them. Her Fall 2017 collection is sleek, chic and powerful. Focusing on the pointy toe silhouette, the collection includes knee-high buckled leather boots, studded ankle boots, and our favorite, fur strapped, tie up court shoes, in oxblood, black and white.

Looking forward to the Kendall Miles SS17 line, we can see the designer evolve into her own style just that much more. Court shoes are elevated with a wavy cut at the entrance of the shoe in monotone and iridescent fabrics, while metallics take the lead for certain flat styles.

Kendall, a woman, and designer of fine taste has always looked at some of the most influential creatives as role models. “My forefathers Salvatore Ferragamo, Roger Vivier and Manolo Blahnik give me the confidence, motivation, and inspiration to fuel my passion.” Kendall, concerned with providing an experience that goes beyond traditional shoe shopping, is creating a name for herself in the industry and is set to be the shoe destination for 2017.
