Get the Look: Flat Braid

To me, this is the perfect Spring inspired hairstyle that can last you all year-long.

For this look I started on freshly washed hair and naturally blew it out just with fingers and a blow dryer. I shaped the hair with the GHD Curve Classic Wave Wand to give lots of body and volume yet a very loose wave (we kept the ends straight so it didn’t end up looking too perfect and feminine).

To texturize the hair, I used Ocean Spray Franck Provost Paris Confidence Professionnelle to keep a very light beach sea breeze feeling with a matte texture. To finish the look I took the top layer of her hair on the right side and created a very loose flat braid, allowing for flyaways, to give a romantic hippie touch. Finally, I added a dime size of Laque Flexible Franck Provost Confidence Professionelle to finish it with shine and hold.
