Glam How-To: GLAMOUR Mexico

The GLAMOUR Mexico August issue featuring Olivia was filled with strong, statement making pieces and thanks to makeup artist Andrea Tiller, the glam to go with it. She provided our own OP with strong dark brows a lighter smokey-eye and baby pink accents to give a simple yet powerful impact with this look. Below, she breaks down the products she used, where to buy them and how you can recreate this show-stopping look whenever you want!

On a clean face prep the skin I used Vintner’s Daughter botanical serum and your favourite moisturizer right now I’m into Sisley’s “Hydra-Global” as the face moisturizer.

For the extra under eye care and to depuff I used Skyn Iceland’s “Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels”, I left these on for 10 minutes and then applied under eye cream after!

To prime the skin I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Coconut primer to further nourish and hydrate the skin, I also love this product because it has a skin smoothing effect!

Foundation: Shameless Foundation by Marc Jacobs Beauty in shade “Light R250” – Apply a light and even layer with a foundation brush, this foundation is medium and if you layer it heavy coverage, perfect for a flawless look! I used concealer Remedy Concealer Pen by Marc Jacobs Beauty in color “Wake-Up Call” under eyes and on any red areas to conceal. Set all this with” Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder” by Marc Jacobs Beauty.

Brows: To make the brows bolder and more defined I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil in “Dark Brown 8” which is a few shades darker then OP’s natural color.

Eye Prep: To prime the eyes I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer. This really helps the pigments on the eyeshadows pop and last all day!

Shadow: Eye-Conic Eye Palette “790 Fantascene” by Marc Jacobs Beauty, I used the “Flesh” shade all over the lid as a base, I then took the “ For More” shade and applied it on her crease using a blending brush keeping the shape round…after this I used “Covets” shade to and took a new blending brush and applied it on the outer edges of the crease where I placed “For More” to create more dimension. Blend blend blend! Inside the eye socket I used a very very slight dust of shade “Fantasy “ to add a slight rose tone to the eyes.

For the bottom half of her eyes I took a smudge brush and did a wash of “ Covets” shade under her bottom lashes for continuity of the top part of the eye. I then went back with “Fantasy” and did the slightest dust of shadow on top of “Covets” to connect the eye look.

Waterline: I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner “Obey-Ge 66 – pearly pale pink”.

Lashes: Finishing off the eye look with 2-3 healthy coats of Marc Jacobs Beauty “Velvet Noir Mascara” on her top/bottom lashes.

Lips: I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hydrating Gloss Stick in color “One Mauve Time”
