July 18, 2012 Glam Tip: (Freeze) Dry Nails in a Flash We’ve already told you about the common household product that can help dry your nails in no time – here’s another quick dry trick (we guarantee you have this one at home): Have a bowl of ice water handy during your next DIY nail session – the ice-cold temperature will set and harden your polish. The trick is to add plenty of ice – just running the cold water won’t do it. Once you’ve swiped on your topcoat, air dry for about 2 minutes, then submerge nails in your bowl of water (be sure to prep it pre-mani), and soak for at least 2-3 minutes.
