Men’s Fashion Week: Belstaff Fall 2016

For our next extreme Winter destination we’d like our suitcases jam-packed with Belstaff’s Fall 2016 collection, please. What better way would there be to appreciate thick snowy mountains and icy glaciers than with style, comfort and functionality on our side? Taking viewers on a journey #HeadingNorth, the luxury British brand’s latest presentation featured a combination of neutral and black toned jackets, onesies, accessories and, of course, classic Belstaff-designed shoes: lace-ups and snow boots. Puffers and leather and shearling jackets were given a particular spotlight with snow-trimmed hoods and detachable layers – lighter silicon jackets, long and short – to suit different temperatures (or just the wet weather), and worn by models with snug knitwear fitted underneath. “The concept of adaptability in our Autumn ’16 collection couldn’t be more relevant given the unusually mild weather we’re experiencing,” explained CEO Gavin Haig. As for accessories, we admire the leather backpacks, fingerless gloves and cashmere scarves.
