OP’s Quick Fixes to De-Stress

Everyone knows that the key to a happy life is balance. Work and play need to be on the same level of frequency with one another in order to help keep all of us healthy, inspired and productive in all every aspect of our life. Sometimes, (more often than we may like to admit), we find ourselves heavy on the work side of things, causing stress and inevitably making it impossible to relax as often as we should. So, we wanted to ask the busiest lady we know, our own OP, for five simple things that help her to decompress and relax – even if just for a minute – in hopes of helping those of us that could use all of the de-stressing we can get.
1. Pamper Yourself
Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of pampering? OP’s choice is a mani/pedi, specifically at one of her favorite spots, Plaza M.
2. Get your sweat on!
Olivia turns to trainer extraordinaire, Tracy Anderson to help her sweat out the stress and toxins in her life.
3. Video games
Sometimes you just need to shut off your brain and have some good old fashion (competitive) fun. Video games provides the fix for Olivia, especially Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo Wii.
4. Take a walk
Seeking out inspiring interiors is what helps OP decompress (strolling through ABC home + carpet, along portobello road and antique shows for example). Extra bonus points if you leave your phone at home so you can really take in your surroundings and try and disconnect.
 5. Decluttering!
Declutter! Sometimes it takes physical order in the home to help sort out the clutter in our brains helping to alleviate anxiety and stress.
