Runway Report: Belstaff Fall 2016

Luxe shearling and leather defined Belstaff’s Fall 2016 presentation. The luxury British brand played with proportion by mixing tight skinny pants with voluminous thick tops and oversized dresses. The mod color palette ranged from molten reds to milk chocolate browns and khaki creams. Belstaff got creative with accessories with cut leather gloves and fashion-forward helmets, truly turning the atmosphere into a real winter-wonderland.

Belstaff’s jackets and coats for this season were the real stand outs. Models donned light bombers, thick furs, and everything in between. Each outwear piece presented minute detail with buttons, buckles and long hems. Perhaps the most successful were the combinations of clean cut puffy grey and blue coats with corresponding fur collars—ensembles truly fit for a mod winter adventure.
