Runway Report: Blumarine

What struck a cord at the Bluemarine Fall 2016 show was the wash of Spring color tones on silhouettes made for Autumn. An eau de nil, long fur coat opened the show, styled with a candyfloss pink mini bag; a stunning look come Fall. We also loved the floral printed chiffon midi-dress, with a beaded boatneck, and the  shimmering champagne lame pleated dress, with a bibbed collar, perfect for those Fall sunsets.

It seemed as though Bluemarine designer, Anna Molinari was forecasting a vibrant upcoming season with her choice of prints and tonal shades. What she also looked to be highlighting are pretty accessories to go with; baby pink patent mules are definitely a go ahead, as were the pastel colored handbags.

As the collection paraded along, contrasting themes were apparent as to suggest that traditional Fall elements would also work with these bright accents. Reds, wood browns, beiges and blacks were fused into a collection that was refreshingly chic and extremely wearable for all.
