Runway Report: Hermès SS16

Hermès is a legend, the eternal object of desire. The French maison is the perfect mixture of quality and creativity and more so than anything, timelessness is valued over trends and their new creative director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski had no intention of changing this story.

Spring/Summer 2016 collection offered in Paris Fashion Week presented a sophisticated, elegant and sensual style. The show focused on simple clean lines, crisp edges and sharp geometric color block prints that began with black, cream and gray and soon switched into flashing colours like blue, red and orange. An explosion of tones that dyed dresses, jumsuits, blazers and vests, designs that would never be out of place no matter where they went.

Brown leather bags gave an extended classic touch, easy to wear with every piece of the collection. Meanwhile, as a bit of a sporty shakeup,  we were surprised with models wearing sneakers instead of heels.
