Runway Report: Markus Lupfer Fall 2016

Always an unmistakable cool girl, Markus Lupfer tunnel visioned towards a 70’s disco-flare for Fall 2016.

It was all there, gold lamé sunburst pleats, suede magenta knee-high boots, silk printed scarves and pussy-bow necklines and geometric and posie floral prints, except rather than appearing cliche, Lupfer kept it balanced thanks to edgy layers – like studded leather jackets – and unexpected pairings, like jewel-tone velvet skirts with corduroy or over-sized suede and shearling outerwear.

The accessories were also not to be missed and even got their own close-up in this season’s lookbook. We loved the mustard embellished handbags as well as the scalloped layered large pastel circle framed sunglasses and mixed shape earrings
