Runway Report: Miu Miu Fall 2015

Miuccia Prada is a woman after our own heart, that’s for sure.

While a nostalgic soundtrack featuring the iconic Talking Heads boomed in the background, models graced the eighties nightclub-like runway with a collection that was nothing short of Miu Miu at its best: fun, engaging and playful.

Much like how we prefer our doses of the funky brand, there was an eruption of every element used. Nothing came loosely or was served half empty – the color palette had a gush of vibrancy, herringbone and bright leopard prints made frequent visits, and a mash of clashing prints and layers weren’t left unnoticed. Shoes were strapped or buckled and dipped into pastel shades of pink and blue, or richer tones of burgundy and burnt orange, although, in the department of accessories, oversized jewelry was the clear winner – think statement necklaces and dazzling chunky earrings.

Standout looks? All things outerwear!
