Runway Report: Temperley London SS19

Alice Temperley, known to stun audiences with her romanticism, decided that this would be her last, in-show-line, show. Instead, she will now focus on Cruise and Pre collections and try and optimize the buying patterns of customers, now.

In the meantime, her ‘last dance’ was one to certainly take notice of. With a glorious and inspiring line up of women, and an ethereal SS19 collection, Temperley, once again, wowed her onlookers. Nathalie Emmanuel, aka Missandei from Game of Thrones, glided down wearing a powdered peach chiffon striped, wrap-dress styled over almond white silk pantaloons, followed by a tulle, fully sequined embellished boat-neck dress with mermaid tail skirt.

To end on a high, Alice Temperley enlisted her 70-year-old mum to walk the show, wearing an Aztec-print cuffed suit with sequinned, sheer peplum top. Is there any other way to break the mold than to put on a collection and show that makes you rise to your feet and applaud? We didn’t think so.
