Runway Report: Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2015

For those of you who follow Olivia on Instagram (@OliviaPalermo) have already gotten a sneak peek at today’s Tommy Hilfiger FW15 show, which transformed NYC’s Park Avenue Armory into the chicest football field ever seen. The sports uniform went high-fashion with leather, velvet, satin and fur takes on the varsity jacket and rah-rah skirt and team stripes embellishing hems and collars. In ensembles detailed with lace ups, patches, team numbers, and block lettering, and paired with lace up boxing boots, everyone from Jourdan Dunn to Gig Hadid was proudly on Team Tommy for the brand’s 30th birthday showing, celebrating the Hilfiger history and embracement of American sportwear.

Hilfiger’s trademark red, white, and blues expanded to a fall palette incorporating tans, golds and burgundies, referencing old school spirit colors circa the seventies. Back to school vibes also translated to plaids and dark denims, paired with satchel bags, rugby striped separates, and round toe pumps. True to the Hilfiger history, it was a collection all about remixed classics, and Olivia and Johannes as well as team OliviaPalermo.com couldn’t be happier to have been a part of it.
