Runway Report: Valentino Fall 2017

When we think of Valentino, we are filled with whimsical and romantic connotations. It is one of our most beloved brands we know and love, and Fall 2017 was nothing short of being dreamy. From full sequin long-line dresses to monochrome squiggly prints, Victorian ruffles, and floral printed velvet, Fall is set to be a rather playful season.

An abstract floral art printed cape dress, on a backdrop of cashew beige that fell at the calves and donned rouching around the bib-line would make for a great trans-seasonal piece. While an oversized eau de nil silk-satin midi dress with long sleeves and 3D appliques of flowers in cobalt blue, baby yellow, and cotton-candy pink would be ideal for a moonlit stroll under the stars

If we had to pick a showstopper amongst the high-end patchwork, luxe velour, injected lilac and high necklines, it’d have to be the raspberry velvet and noir lace fabric striped maxi dress with scalloped shoulders and black beadwork. It can’t get much better than that.
