Runway Review: Topshop Unique Spring 2015

Topshop always manages to capture the quintessential quirky-cool of the London girl, and their SS15 collection was no exception.  Drawing inspiration from trips to the English seaside, Topshop channeled Brighton Beach in striped and colorblocked sporty separates in punchy red, white, black, and blue.

Off-the-shoulder tops and ruffled hemlines proved trends travelling across from NYFW. Striped mock-collars, zipper details, and luxed-up duffle bags kept a classic sporty vibe, but paired perfectly with bright, chunky heels laced up around the ankle.

Oversized bomber jackets lent an effortless edge to floaty, flirty skirts, and a finale of sheer and romantic evening wear, short and dance-ready of course, and matched with flower corsages.  The whole collection was ready to walk straight off of the runway and on to the London high-streets, and still has us singing along to Fun Boy Three’s ‘Our Lips Our Sealed
