Shop the Season: Spring 2015 Haute Couture

With NYFW pushed back by one week this season, we have a slight break between the end of the Spring 2015 Haute Couture shows and the presentation of the Fall 2015 collections. So while we wait in this fashion show limbo, we thought we would attempt to do the impossible, make the Haute Couture shows shoppable. Now considering Haute Couture entails weeks to months of pain-staking construction all of which is done by hand, and these bespoke pieces are usually the only one of its’ kind and even if you somehow get your hands on one they can easily end up costing high into the five-figure mark and beyond, so you can see why this task could be deemed difficult to complete. However, we were fortunate enough to find many pieces that beautifully reflect some of our favorite looks from the Spring ’15 Couture shows. From Vilshenko and Needle and Thread’s colorful embroideries to floral and beaded gowns from Notte by Marchesa and Oscar de la Renta, take a look and feel free to shop till you drop (or at least until your closets’ content).
