Shopping For: Rain Boots

– By Teresa Greenfeld –

It never seems to fail- when ever you have a million things to do, or errands to run, it will rain.  And of course, everything is located on opposite sides of the city from one another.   So you pull on your trusty rain boots, and take a glance in the mirror on your way out, only to see what can only be described as a “which of these things does not belong” child’s puzzle reflected back.

Like some cruel twist of fate, the monsoon that swept in for your entire commute, is gone with out a trace – the moment you get to the office.  Of course now you’re left wearing clunky rubber boots for the rest of the day.  And why does no one else seem to be affected by the downpour?

Just because something is functional (essential if you live in a city) doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be chic.  If for no other reason than to save you from vicious children’s puzzles and personal monsoons.
