Boutique Spotlight: Level Shoe District at the Dubai Mall

Imagine a serene retail space, artfully designed, boasting 40 boutiques and 300 designers – all dedicated to shoes. Yes, it sounds a lot like our idea of heaven too, but this is the reality when you visit Level Shoe District at the Dubai Mall.

Upon arriving in the UAE’s fastest growing city, a stay Downtown is a must, with a skyline not-to-be-missed and most of the world’s luxury brands occupying the towering real estate. Saunter through the renowned Dubai Mall (complete with traditional souk, ice rink and 51m x 20m x 11m aquarium), and you’ll also come across some pretty impressive examples of store design. Level Shoe District is no exception – the Chalhoub Group enlisted London interior design agency Shed to realise the space with its wide walkways, geometric fixtures and sumptuous seating areas.

Perhaps the most unique aspect however, is the range. The store is home to an array of exclusive designer collaborations, plus you’ll also find runway favourites (including Dsquared2, Balmain and Celine) and popular independent brands spread across the four expertly curated departments – Women’s Designer, Contemporary, Men’s Designer and Trend.

To add to the customer experience, there are private areas to try styles in seclusion, personal stylists on-hand to advise you and a full-time concierge to further aid your visit. Gents can experience the same – exclusive styles from the likes of Louboutin, Louis Leeman and up-and-coming trainer brand L’Homme de Maison are on offer alongside luxurious private fitting rooms and an on-site cobbler to ensure you find the perfect fit.
