SS19 Beauty Trend Report

Another whirlwind fashion month comes another collection of inspiring makeup moments from the runways of New York to Paris.

Creative makeup played as an important accessory to the collections for Spring 2019. From painterly gestures at Chrsitian Dior, to neon geometric shapes and colors on the faces at Manish Arora, we’ve put together the top trends featuring some outstanding looks below and the products you’ll need to achieve each trend all in the slideshow above!

Gorilla Artists

As seen at Christian Dior, Manish Arora, Anna Sui and Valentino. These looks were bright, bold and daring! From intricately placed Swarovski crystals at Valentino to neon watercolors across the eyes and cheeks at Anna Sui, these looks were about the use of color as an accessory more than just makeup looks.

Deconstructed Disco

As seen at Kate Spade, Monse, Tom Ford  and  Tadoshi Shoji. It was a breakdown of the 1970’s into its rawest form leaving you with gold, glittery blues and smoked shades of copper. These looks were distressed, not glamorous but still modern and wearable.

Crafty Graphic Eyeliner

As seen at Coach, Mugler, Rocha & Marni. From dense goth cat eyes to straight floating triangle corners, this seasons eyeliner gets a modern twist on how to wear it in all shapes and sizes.

Blurred and bright Lips

As seen at Chanel, Chalayan & Koche’ Lips were bright with blurred edges. No sharp corners edged by lip liners. The colorful pout is demure, sophisticated and chic. This texture pairs well with radiant glowing skin too.
