Travel: Where to Stay, Dine and Drink in Dubai

Where to stay, dine and drink in Dubai – from Jumeirah Beach to Downtown Four Seasons, Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

Blending traditional Arabic design with chic, contemporary interiors, Four Seasons’ newest outpost on Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach has been worth the wait. Set on 270 metres of natural beachfront, the resort boasts incredible views out to sea or over Downtown Dubai from all of its 237 rooms and suites.

A serene colour palette of neutrals and pale sea blue runs throughout the property, whilst their developing collection of art and accessories is a covetable array of pieces in-keeping with the hotel’s coastal location.

Extending the calming influence of the nearby ocean, the exclusive Pearl Spa offers a mix of ancient and truly innovative treatments. Soothing scents envelop you on entering and once you’re done sampling the extensive menu and opulent indoor pool, it’s time to take a step outside. Set in beautiful manicured gardens, you’ll find the outdoor pool area. Space is separated for family fun and quiet time; luxurious secluded bungalows are set for privacy whilst ample lounging space includes buttons for immediate thirst-quenching attention.

Five restaurants are available on-site for dining and drinks – we adored Suq with its market feel, open kitchens and cuisine from around the world. Chefs were handpicked from around the world, spanning Beverly Hills to France for their expertise. The restaurant interiors come courtesy of Tihany Design, with splashes of citrus tones and hot red for Suq’s trendy patio space.

The rooftop bar, Mercury Lounge, also cannot be missed. It looks set to be the-place-to-be this NYE with its view of Downtown Dubai and infamous fireworks overhead. Resident mixologists create signature drinks from a striking, spherical bar (which had to be craned in), whilst guests can wile away the hours in private, stylishly designed majlises.
