Trend Report: Kaleidoscope Prints

The seventies have proven to be able to provide more than enough inspiration to go around since the Fall 2015 shows, but this season – like many of the trends – they at the very least received a bit of an upgrade. One facet of this was found in swirling prints of florals, metallics and paisleys, mixed and matched in a variety of colorways and patterns that made the eye dance and the brain go into a bit of a tizzy. And while some were certainly more psychedelic than others (looking at you Givenchy), it seems that the only rule for mixing prints in Fall 2016 is that there are no rules.
