Trend Report: Ruffles

While ruffles tend to come and go, this season they seemed to be reinvented. Less cutesy and more powerful, rather than strictly dancing along hemlines and simply formed into peplums, they were utilized within looks that were feminine without straying too junior. They floated down in tiers of chiffon at Chloe and along the stems and shoes of models at Fendi. They graced along seam lines at Erdem and Dior while standing bold and in the foreground at Roksanda, Gucci and Marchesa. But no matter where they laid, they created shapes and molded curves on each and every garment they adorned.
