Styled by OP: A Lesson in Lightweight Layering

What's black and white with vibrant accessories all over? Our founder's latest look to learn.

When it comes to end-of-summer dressing, opting for the nearest carefree dress or tank to throw-on-and-go becomes a simple dressing solution. But lately, Olivia's been finding creative ways to layer these two staples together to switch up her everyday outfits. First, she put on a flutter-sleeve dress as a base and added a high-low tank on top. "Typically, I'd wear this dress for a formal occasion," notes Olivia, "But when combined with this tank, it instantly looked more casual and breathed new life into both pieces. Finding new ways to wear my favorites is part of what makes fashion so fun."

Both the dress and the top from her namesake label are crafted from breezy, silk double georgette, which also ensures that layering in the summer heat won't be an oxymoron. Then, because our founder's outfit incorporated neutrals mainly, she made sure to go bold with her accessories. She says, "Color-blocking in black and white became the perfect canvas for a graphic scarf, snake print bag, and my go-to Roger Vivier lace-up shoes. If you are looking to refresh a summery dress, too,  I promise this outfit idea is super versatile and easy to try!"
