Celebrating the Launch of the Olivia Palermo Collection

Closing out an eventful week with a cocktail party held in honor of the collection’s big reveal.

On the evening of Wednesday, February 12th, guests flocked to Chef’s Club downtown to toast the launch of Olivia Palermo’s namesake label. The anticipated ready-to-wear collection was set to launch the following day, so attendees were treated to a sneak-peek of the pieces and a music-filled celebration. Upon arrival, cocktails and mini bottles of Mionetto prosecco, plus bites of Tuscan fare from the renowned Florence-based  Osteria della tre Panche were served. The latter restaurant is currently on a residency at the location, and the flavorful cuisine helped set the ambiance for the night.

Mannequins were displayed throughout the space, creating small vignettes of guests enjoying the party. Each was dressed in core pieces from the SS20 collection, which included the original optic and chevron prints, color-blocked skirts and dresses, silky neck-tie blouses, lace layering pieces, and supple leather separates. Gorgeous accessories are a must, too— when being true to Palermo’s styling sensibilities—so the outfits included fashionable hats, evening clutches, and sparkling embellished heels.

Displays of beautiful pink florals by Angel Salazar Designs (an OP favorite), accented both the blush tones and graphic patterns of the Olivia Palermo Collection. Then, framed design notes and fabric swatches also added to the evening’s colorful décor. Attendees included friends of the brand: Tracy Anderson, Edward Barsamian, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Nausheen Shah, and Mafalda Sajonia Coburgo, plus editors, buyers, and other fashion industry creatives.

The room was abuzz with excitement for the collection’s first drop, which is now available to shop on OliviaPalermo.com and will soon be in Saks Fifth Avenue stores, on Saks.com, and in select international specialty retailers.
