OP Cocktail Club—An Easter Friendly Elixir with Flair

Sip in style.

With Easter weekend (and the end of Passover) upon us, team OP asked Cody Goldstein of Muddling Memories how we can all get in the festive spirit with a delectable elixir. Enter their latest creation, the Peep Peep, a vodka based cocktail brimming with fresh flavors from orange and lemon juices. “We wanted to have a little fun and make a drink that reminded us of a little chick,” explains Goldstein. “The drink gets its inspiration from the pastel colors outside which let us know spring is here!”

Infused with Apricot jam and Turmeric powder, the results are a sight for the eyes and a joy for the taste buds. “The tones of yellow and orange add a bright and refreshing pop,” says Goldstein, adding, “the real twist comes from the addition of turmeric, which adds a warming flavor.” As for the finishing touch, Goldstein sought to transport everyone to Europe. “We know Olivia loves to travel and we wanted to bring her back to France with the very delicious Bonne Maman.” Below, Goldstein breaks down how to create the Peep Peep.

1.5 oz Vodka

2 oz Fresh Orange Juice

.50 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

1 Tablespoon Bonne Maman Apricot Jam

1/8th Teaspoon Pinches Turmeric Powder (Optional)

Club Soda, to fill

Add vodka, orange, lemon, apricot jam, and turmeric (optional) into a shaker and fill with ice. Shake for 5 seconds and strain into a highball glass with ice. Fill with club soda and garnish with a long lemon peel.
