Breaking down the stylist-recommended products Olivia uses on the daily to keep her mane intact.

When past itineraries have included back to back meetings, fashion appearances, and evening events—it might be hard to find Olivia with a hair out of place. That's because with many outfit swaps also comes many glam changes, and the importance of having reliable products at the ready is evident for her and her hairstylists. However, during the past few months on pause, Olivia's been employing all of the hair tips she's learned from glam experts to refine the best care routine for her tresses, at home. Here, Olivia shares favorite products—from hair oils to shampoos—that help her on-the-go, and that she'll be using until the last drop.
Lather, Rinse, Repeat
My favorite shampoo has always been Phyto's Clarifying Detox Shampoo, as it makes my hair feel extremely clean after a big shoot or after using many styling products. It's like a mini detox for your strands and scalp because it removes impurities and smells lovely. My mom always washed her hair everyday, so I've followed suit as it seems to be her secret to beautiful hair! Alongside Andre Davis who has been cutting my hair for years, Abby Haliti is my go-to colorist, so I also use color-protectant shampoos and conditioners like R+Co's Gemstone duos. They're formulated with beneficial ingredients for all hair tones and come in creative packaging that brightens up my shower shelf.
Pro Dry
Because I've traveled lots throughout my career, learning how to achieve a blowout on my own was a big step. First, I'll detangle wet hair using a wide comb from Creative Hair Tools, and while drying, gently use a Mason Pearson brush as the line's sturdy bristles distribute the hair's natural oils. I love using the Ghd hair-dryer when home and my friend Kenna Kennor first introduced me to this as pros like him rely on them backstage at fashion shows. When heading abroad to Europe, I'll pack my Hershensons dryer. This tool helps my hair dry quickly, too, and gives a professional finish that's easy to complete.
Shine Savers
Between my typical wash and dry, there are a few nourishing and shine-enhancing products that I recommend for a great hair day. After washing my hair and while it's still damp, I'll apply a few drops of the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil or the R+Co Tinsel Smoothing Oil through the mid-lengths and ends. Both add extra hydration and act as a heat, anti-frizz protectant, giving my hair a nice shine without feeling too heavy. Even though I switch up my hairstyles quite often, L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray holds great throughout the day, especially if I'm wearing a sleek ponytail or pinned-back bun. I keep a travel size of this in my bag at all times, along with a few bobby pins and hair ties. You never know when you might want a quick touchup!
