The Daily Skincare Products Olivia Swears By

In moments of uncertainty, a refined skincare routine is one thing that can remain a comforting constant to jumpstart the day and lead to therapeutic R&R at home. Here, Olivia shares the products she relies on most to nourish and cleanse her skin.

Having a daily regimen in place is a simple way to provide clarity and to nurture your overall wellbeing, especially in troubling times. Now more than ever, it's important to be kind to yourself, and practicing self-care through skincare is a natural place to start. Olivia's beauty routine can be as everchanging as her outfits—often switching it up with products to suit specific needs—but lately, she's been leaning on reliable favorites. Moving through the steps of cleansing, applying a serum, adding hydration, and later indulging with masks and special treatments, this is her current skincare routine from day to night.

Morning Cleanse:
Dr. Dennis Gross has been my dermatologist since I was a child, so his expert-recommended products are the basis of each day. Cleansing is an essential first step, so I always use a washcloth to clean my face in the AM. I'll follow by using the Dr. Dennis Gross All-in-One Cleanser, which is also a multitasking toner for balance. If extra exfoliation is needed, I'll swap for the 111Skin Clinical Exfoliator.

Serum Savior:
Next up for me are trusty serums and emulsions, and the 111Skin Celestial Black Diamond Emulsion and the 111Skin Celestial Black Diamond Serum, and my Olivia Palermo Beauty Primetime Illuminating Serum are my daily go-to's. If my skin needs extra oomph, I'll switch to the 111Skin Y Theorem Repair Serum for its elasticity-enhancing benefits.

The Power of Rose Quartz:
Lately, I've been using the Gulsha Rose Quartz Facial Massage Plate and then the Knesko Skin Rose Quartz Roller along with my serum to really help the ingredients absorb into my skin. These steps are not only cooling but its like I'm giving myself a mini facial to relax the muscles plus feel refreshed.

Moisture & Hydration:
As pictured before, I really love the Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Oil-Free Moisturizer and will follow up with the eye cream from the same line. Sometimes I'll also use the 111Skin Meso Infusion Leave On Mask, which smooths and hydrates before applying my makeup. Another product I've been testing out is "The Rich Cream" from Augustinus Bader. It's the cult-fave that's made to deliver nutrients and renew the skin on a cellular level.

Nightly Prep:
At night, I'll remove my makeup with Bioderma (sometimes good-ole Vaseline, too!) then cleanse using my Clarisonic and one of the cleansers from the morning. The Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel that comes with two clarifying steps is great to use afterwards.

Masks & Treatments:
If I feel like treating myself, I'll follow up with my favorite masks of all types a few times a week. I love the Sisley Black Rose Mask, which you apply for ten minutes and then rinse, or for extra indulgence, I'll leave on the 111Skin Overnight Mask. For sheet masks, 111Skin's full assortment addresses many skincare woes, and Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Magic Dry Sheet Mask is a self-care staple. I've also noticed incredible results from light therapy treatments, so before I'm ready to head to bed, I'll use the Dr. Dennis Gross FaceWare Pro LED mask, which helps boost collagen production.

Evening Wind Down:
Lastly, to ensure I'm soothing my skin, ECS Therapy 1000 Topical is a medical CBD cream made with a botanical blend that I use sparingly. It aids with muscle aches or spasms after a long day or an intense workout, which is a helpful way to unwind. Remember, it's important to treat both your body and skin with extra kindness now and always.
